This is the part of my blog that relates to Creativity, Action, and Service. The IBO's emphasis has changed to journalling reflection and self-awareness of my development over the twenty months of the IB Diploma from simply documenting 150 hours of effort - which, working it out, is only a couple of hours a week on average, and a lot of it can be done in the long summer vacation in the middle of the course.

To succeed in this aspect of the IB you have to plan and initiate activities in order to undertake new challenges, some of which should involve engagement in global issues (even if you act locally), working collaboratively with others and showing perseverance in developing new skills, while considering the ethical ramifications of your efforts, thereby increasing your self-awareness. Easy, isn't it?

First game of the season

I had my first game of the season yesterday, it was a long day 12:00 - 8:30 I'd forgotten how tiring it is to field for four hours straight and I'm feeling it this morning! I enjoyed bowling again and was feeling consistant, I tried too hard to get a wicket in my second spell, and conceded runs because of this, but I was happy to experiment with my style. So overall I was happy with the day.
